Jack Weberg spent over 35 years as an engineer in the medical imaging field, specializing in heart catheterization laboratories, computed tomography (CT) scanners, mammography and general x ray. Jack spent nearly 20 years with the General Electric Company, Medical Systems Division contributing to the advancement of methods and technology to improve the quality of imaging of the heart on 35mm high speed film, and later was on the design team that invented the CT scanner. As Senior International Engineer for CT products, Jack installed CT scanners and trained staff in over 30 countries how to use and maintain GE scanners. While at GE, Jack managed a fleet of 29 company vehicles.
Jack’s next fifteen years were as co-owner or owner of his own businesses in the medical imaging field. Sentec, Inc. designed and sold computer power protection equipment for CT scanners. Trius Diagnostic Imaging sold and serviced medical imaging equipment.
Jack is the lead Instructor Trainer for the CPR, First Aid, AED; Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens; in addition to the Workplace Defensive Driving program and other classes for the National Safety Council. Jack is also certified by the Arizona Supreme Court to teach the Ticket Diversion Course
Jack also volunteers at the Arizona State Braille and Talking Book Library, recording books onto tape for the blind.
