Presented by Arizona Chapter National Safety Council
We have all been concerned about this for quite awhile and it looks like it is finally here; sadly some may become very ill or even die. Is your business or family prepared to take the appropriate measures to ensure the minimal impact to your loved ones and organization?
The National Safety Council has developed a two-part influenza program. The first part, Protecting Your Workers from the Flu, is intended to help you understand how an influenza pandemic might affect business and encourage you to plan for a potential outbreak. The second part, Prescription for the Flu, is based on the OSHA Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for an Influenza Pandemic. This 3-hour program is intended for safety managers, supervisors, employees or volunteers of all organizations, community members, students - anyone that may be affected by a potential pandemic.
The National Safety Council’s The Prescription for the Flu program was named as EMS Expo’s Top Pick for 2008.
