The Six Habits Display
There are certain moments in most people's lives when they are particularly teachable.
Standing in front of a crashed car is one of these. During such times safety messages
tend to sink in more deeply.
We hear a lot about seat belts and substance abuse. However, Arizona crash statistics point to
six other factors, extremely wide spread, that receive little mention. These are massive
hidden killers.
Arizona Chapter National Safety Council has a crashed vehicle that is permanently mounted on a trailer.
The display includes a portable fence and caution tape. It comes with a large sign (English and Spanish)
that points out these six factors and teaches simply strategies or "New Habits' of significant impact. To
encourage permanent changes in behavior, a small take-along card is provided each person, listing the
6 new habits.
This complete display may be borrowed by responsible Arizona organizations. There is no fee attached.
