Although professional truck drivers are involved in fewer collisions than other motorists, accidents involving trucks are far more deadly and costly. The Arizona Chapter National Safety Council’s Professional Truck Driver Safety Program has been the most comprehensive truck safety training course providing the over-the-road driver with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to commit to safety and excellence. This course is flexible and interactive, with curriculum and materials that conforms to all current U.S. Department of Transportation standards based on the Large Truck Crash Causation Study announced by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
