Suicide among adolescents and young people is a growing problem. This course is designed for
parents of kids and young adults ages 11 - 24, and focuses on the root causes of suicide.
The content helps parents identify the signs of depression, risk factors, and behaviors indicating a
young person may be contemplating suicide.
Suicide is very often predictable and preventable. This course arms parents with information and
strategies to reduce the risk of a child suicide and to increase the child’s coping skills.
